Ever wanted to sport the lyrics of your favorite song on your t-shirt?  Now you can without looking like a crazed fan.  The Music Tee is a hot new trend that allows devoted listeners to support artists just by wearing a Tee.  A collaboration between indie fashion label LnA and music arbiter Invisible DJ, the Music Tee, features original album art on the front and a playlist on the back.  The shirt also boasts a URL code-embedded hangtag that allows the wearer to download the album.

FACT @ PrideFest

The LGBT FACT group in Milwaukee got 150 intakes on new youth and reached nearly 700 people at its Fashion Show at PrideFest.  The audience saw their Stop Secondhand Smoke chalking, and was encouraged to put out their cigarettes. Attendees filled out small FACT building blocks, sprayed t-shirts, picked up FACT literature, and talked to Youth Leaders about the importance of fighting corporate tobacco and Big Tobacco’s target of LGBT people.

Summerfest '09

Summerfest in Milwaukee is almost here!  From June 25th to July 5th, Milwaukee will host over 700 bands on 11 stages.  Check out artists like Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney, No Doubt and Paramore, The Fray, and Stevie Wonder.  This year’s line-up will rock your socks off!

Can you beat Kate?

Do you think you have what it takes to beat 15-year-old Kate Moore in a texting challenge? How about taking that challenge with blindfolds on or while maneuvering through a moving obstacle course?  Kate did! … and beat out 20 others in a two-day texting challenge to be crowned the nation’s fastest texter. 

 

In the final showdown, she outtexted 14-year-old Morgan Dynda.  Both girls had to text three lengthy phrases without making any mistakes on the required abbreviations, capitalization or punctuation. Kate's new texting title came with a $50,000 prize.
